The 2011-2012 Annual Fund is underway!
Goal: $20,000 by June 30, 2012
Annual Fund gifts are 'the gifts we live by.' These gifts are put to use immediately to support all aspects of educating each child at Amherst Montessori School.
As an independent school, Amherst Montessori School receives no state or federal funding. Tuition covers a part of the true cost of running Amherst Montessori School -- the rest is made up through fundraising. The Annual Fund is the school's single largest fundraiser each year; it, along with proceeds from the school's annual benefit auction, helps to ensure that the school meets its expenses each year, and can continue to provide the education and resources that touch our children every day.
Annual Fund gifts touch all aspects of the teaching and caring for our children. Support from our community is critical to ensuring the following resources for our school:
- essential Montessori materials
- faculty excellence, development and longevity
- equipment of all types
- field trips near and far
- financial aid for families in need
- peace education
- ...everything!
